(CIC), agreed to invest $3 billion in <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/the-blackstone-group-l-p/bx/nys">Blackstone</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/the-blackstone-group-l-p/bx/nys">BX</a>). Of course, it was a disaster. In all, the investment lost roughly two-thirds of its value. <br /><br />Despite all this, it looks like CIC hasn't given up on Blackstone.
