Dell (DELL) has made another acquisition to help it compete in the small and medium-sized business hardware market. Kace Inc. will become part of Dell as the world's third-largest computer manufacturer bolsters its systems management.
The deal should close by the end of Dell's current first quarter ending in April. This acquisition fits in well with Dell's ongoing spree to shore up small business needs. Dell follows into Jeff Jarvis' recent ploy to deliver value instead of products. Help your customers succeed instead of selling hardware and support. Help them determine solutions for their own customers, and own that relationship for life.
