Kace Inc. will become part of Dell as the world's third-largest computer manufacturer bolsters its systems management.

The deal should close by the end of Dell's current first quarter ending in April. This acquisition fits in well with Dell's ongoing spree to shore up small business needs. Dell follows into Jeff Jarvis' recent ploy to deliver value instead of products. Help your customers succeed instead of selling hardware and support. Help them determine solutions for their own customers, and own that relationship for life.

Continue reading Dell Acquires Kace to Bolster Small Business Offerings

Dell Acquires Kace to Bolster Small Business Offerings originally appeared on BloggingStocks on Mon, 15 Feb 2010 15:00:00 EST. The Round Rock, TX-based computer behemoth doesn't have the product and services portfolio HP has, and although it has launched into retailers in the last 18 months to great applause, it hasn't been enough. Dell is simply another brand of PC on the retail shelf. There is very little to no value proposition there.
