Simply put, many VCs have been holding back.</p>
<p>But there is one area that remains hopeful: cleantech.</p>
<p>In fact, today, <a href="http://www.hara.com/">Hara</a>, a new company in the space <a href="http://www.mercurynews.com/greenenergy/ci_12479944">will launch</a>.
