We had another military skirmish reporting round from the Koreas, and that sent bonds higher with stocks lower. Then a FOMC meeting that <a href="http://247wallst.com/2010/11/23/fomc-minutes-currency-manipulation-duration-dissent/">smells of currency manipulation and official dissent </a>inside the FOMC did nothing to add more confidence. Lastly, Irish banking woes and European concern added pressure as well. Many investors still have big gains and some have decided to lock-in. <br />

<ul>
    <li><strong>Ann Taylor Stores Corp.</strong> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/anntaylor-stores-corporation/ann/nys">ANN</a>) declining same-store sales offset better-than-expected <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/11/20/ann-taylor-out-of-style-with-investors-after-q3-report/">Q3 earnings</a>. </li>
    <li><strong>Canadian Solar Inc.</strong> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/canadian-solar-inc-common-shares/csiq/nas">CSIQ</a>) reached a new 52-week high after <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/11/17/canadian-solar-soars-to-new-annual-high-post-earnings/">Q3 results</a> handily exceeded expectations. </li>
    <li><strong>Dillard's Inc.</strong> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/dillard-s-inc/dds/nys">DDS</a>) said that it swung to <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/11/18/dillards-saks-swing-to-q3-profits-tjx-earnings-soar/">a Q3 profit</a> due to cost cutting as revenue declined year over year. </li>
    <li><strong>GameStop Corp.</strong> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/gamestop-corp-new/gme/nys">GME</a>) reported uninspiring <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/11/19/gamestop-not-the-greatest-quarter-but-a-buy-nonetheless/">Q3 numbers</a> that included a slump in same-store sales. </li>
    <li><strong>Home Depot Inc.</strong> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/the-home-depot-inc/hd/nys">HD</a>) lower <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/11/17/home-depot-tops-q3-estimates-but-bad-news-drags-the-stock-lower/">Q3 earnings</a> and revenue beat analysts' estimates, but shares still declined. </li>

You can't blame the bottom line for the poor stock performance. The fast-food joint earned 70 cents per share from continuing operations versus the 45 cents per share from continuing operations earned in the comparable quarter. Did such a growth rate deserve a nearly 6% cut in share price? Analysts were only looking for 55 cents per share, according to <a href="http://www.earnings.com/company.asp?client=cb&amp;ticker=JACK">Earnings.com</a>.</p>
<p>Well, Wall Street apparently wasn't satisfied with the outlook, as this <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/companyNews/idUSBNG46758920091118">Reuters</a> article points out. Traders are obviously more concerned with where Jack in the Box may be heading as opposed to where it's been. </p>
