<p>It could take years before dividends rebound to the levels of past years -- and that is likely to be driven as much by suspicion of share buybacks as by increased generosity on the part of corporate boards.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/12/27/dividends-plummeted-21-in-2009/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dividends Plummeted 21% in 2009</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/12/27/dividends-plummeted-21-in-2009/">Dividends Plummeted 21% in 2009</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Sun, 27 Dec 2009 11:20:00 EST. KKR's $7.3 billion acquisition of Dollar General in March of 2007 looks like one of the few good buyout deals to have come at the peak of that boom.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/05/02/dollar-stores-thrive-in-tough-times-but-is-it-too-late-to-buy-i/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dollar stores thrive in tough times, but is it too late to buy in?</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/05/02/dollar-stores-thrive-in-tough-times-but-is-it-too-late-to-buy-i/">Dollar stores thrive in tough times, but is it too late to buy in?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Sat, 02 May 2009 12:40:00 EST.
