It's odd, again GE seems to be stuck in a rut, much like our Sheldon Liber <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/general-electric-company/ge/extRedirect?sym=GE&amp;date=20061024171300&amp;type=blogs.headlinesview&amp;provider=Sheldon+Liber&amp;url=http://ge.bloggingstocks.com/2006/10/24/time-warner-cable-no-longer-stuck-in-the-muddle/">talks about here</a>.<br /><br />GE is also facing some lingering questions about NBC, which although it stands behind, is still coming out behind the other networks. In this <a href="http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/sector-snap-television-networks/n20061024155309990006">analysis of TV network ratings</a>, NBC leads with Nightly News, but the stellar Fall lineup that was predicted has not put NBC ahead. Heros and Studio 60 aren't quite bringing in the eyeballs everyone was hoping for. NBC is also not in the lead in the <a href="http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/sector-wrap-cable-networks/n20061024164809990015">cable area</a> either.<br /><br />Which leads many to question, why is GE so determined to hang onto NBC?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2006/10/24/ge-after-the-bell-10-24-06-nbc-still-falling-behind-the-other-n/">GE after the bell 10/24/06: NBC still falling behind the other networks in ratings</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Tue, 24 Oct 2006 17:48:00 EST.
