T. Rowe Price (TROW - option chain) shares are rising today after the company reported Q3 earnings this morning of $169.1 million, or 64 cents per share, on revenue of $586 million. Analysts had forecast a profit of 50 cents per share on revenue of $574 million. If you think that the stock won't fall by too much in the coming months, then now could be a good time to look at a bullish hedged trade on TROW.

TROW opened this morning at $55.00. So far today the stock has hit a low of $54.48 and a high of $55.17. As of 12:25, TROW is trading at $55.00 up $2.30 (4.4%). The chart for TROW looks neutral and S&P gives TROW a neutral 3 STARS (out of 5) hold ranking.

Twitter is on the brink of nabbing another $100 million in financing, according to the New York Times. This would value the company at $1 billion, bringing back memories of outrageous valuations without corresponding revenue.

Insight Venture Partners and T. Rowe Price are said to be involved in the transaction, which would put them with Spark Capital and Institutional Venture Partners as investors in the popular microblogging site.
