<p>The contributing editor to <a href="http://www.investmentu.com/">Investment U</a> explains, "Let's take a look at 3 stocks that millionaires (and aspiring ones) should pay attention to: Apple (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/apple-inc/aapl/nas">AAPL</a>), Bristol-Myers Squibb (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/bristol-myers-squibb-company/bmy/nys">BMY</a>) and Varian Medical Systems (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/varian-medical-systems-inc/var/nys">VAR</a>).</p>
<p>"And according to Fidelity, 83% of millionaires surveyed said the financial crisis did not shake their confidence in investing. And of those who said they'll invest more money in the stock market, nearly 60% of them plan to buy technology stocks. And just under half expect to acquire pharmaceutical and healthcare stocks.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2011/03/23/favorite-stocks-of-wealthy-investors/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Three Favorite Stocks of Wealthy Investors</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2011/03/23/favorite-stocks-of-wealthy-investors/">Three Favorite Stocks of Wealthy Investors</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Wed, 23 Mar 2011 15:30:00 EST. <p>The editor of <a href="http://www.dowtheory.com/">Dow Theory Forecasts</a> -- an advisorty service that has focused on blue chip stocks for over 50 years -- explains, "We have reviewed stocks that have climbed to within 25% of the price of their last split. Below, we review four of these stocks, all potential stock-split candidates: Apple (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/apple-inc/aapl/nas">AAPL</a>), Lubrizol (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/the-lubrizol-corporation/lz/nys">LZ</a>), TJX (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/tjx-companies-incorporated/tjx/nys">TJX</a>) and Varian Medical Systems (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/varian-medical-systems-inc/var/nys">VAR</a>).</p>
<p>"Is an increase in stock splits important? After all, stock splits have no fundamental impact on a company, neither creating nor destroying value.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/09/15/potential-split-candidates-aapl-lz-tjx-var/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Four Potential Split Candidates: Apple, Lubrizol, TJX, Varian Medical</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/09/15/potential-split-candidates-aapl-lz-tjx-var/">Four Potential Split Candidates: Apple, Lubrizol, TJX, Varian Medical</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Wed, 15 Sep 2010 13:00:00 EST. <p>Here's a look at the company from <a href="http://oxfordclub.com/">Louis Basenese</a>, senior analyst with <a href="http://oxfordclub.com/">The Oxford Club</a>, along with commentary from <a href="http://www.turnaroundtrader.com/visitor.php?offer=68">Mark Skousen</a>, from his specialty service, <a href="http://www.turnaroundtrader.com/visitor.php?offer=68">The Turnaround Alert</a>.</p>
<p>Mark Skousen suggests, "One stock that should benefit from 'ObamaCare' is Varian Medical Systems, the world's leader in radiation technology and X-ray imaging.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/12/08/x-ray-gains-experts-eye-varian-medical-var/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>X-ray gains: Experts eye Varian Medical (VAR)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/12/08/x-ray-gains-experts-eye-varian-medical-var/">X-ray gains: Experts eye Varian Medical (VAR)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Tue, 08 Dec 2009 12:30:00 EST. <p>Varian pleased investors last week, when it reported Q3 EPS of 58 cents and revenues of $513 million. Analysts had been looking for 46 cents and $480.3 million. The CEO noted that faster than expected acceptance of Varian's oncology products was a major factor leading to the successful quarter. Management also guided FY08 EPS to about $2.23 ($2.11 consensus) and FY08 revenues to about $2.08-$2.096 billion ($2.05B consensus). Needham and Lazard Capital subsequently reiterated "buy" ratings on the shares.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/08/01/varian-medical-systems-var-shares-defining-bullish-pennant/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Varian Medical Systems (VAR): Shares defining bullish 'pennant' consolidation</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/08/01/varian-medical-systems-var-shares-defining-bullish-pennant/">Varian Medical Systems (VAR): Shares defining bullish 'pennant' consolidation</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 01 Aug 2008 12:53:00 EST.
