<br />
The editor of <a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/emerging-global-shares-indxx-india-infrastructure-index-fund/inxx/nys">The Silk Road Investor</a> explains, "Without upgrading their infrastructure, these countries won't be able to achieve the savings from reduced costs and a faster production cycle. <br />
<br />
"This is particularly important for Asia because the region is leading the charge on global economic growth. Emerging economies are in a race against time to build up their infrastructure, as breakneck urbanization is pressuring existing infrastructure.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/11/11/india-infrastructure-index-fund-inxx-building-value/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>India Infrastructure Index Fund (INXX): Building Value</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/11/11/india-infrastructure-index-fund-inxx-building-value/">India Infrastructure Index Fund (INXX): Building Value</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Thu, 11 Nov 2010 09:30:00 EST. <p>The editor of <a href="https://www.fabian.com/offers/products/si-stock-advisors-4-14/">Making Money Alert</a> explains, "The Van Eck Market Vectors Indonesia ETF (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/market-vectors-indonesia-index-etf/idx/nys">IDX</a>) jumped 13.55% over that period. <p>"When reviewing a list of top-performing ETFs over the past few months, it's not hard to discern a pattern; if a fund has China somewhere in the name, odds are good that it has screamed to the top of the charts," says <a href="http://www.thestockadvisors.com/ccount/click.php?id=3105 ">Paul Tracy</a>.</p>
<p>In <a href="http://www.thestockadvisors.com/ccount/click.php?id=3105 ">The ETF Authority</a>, he adds, "It seems the China growth story is now back on track." Here, he looks at the <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/templeton-dragon-fund-inc/tdf/nys">Templeton Dragon Fund</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/templeton-dragon-fund-inc/tdf/nys">TDF</a>), run by Mark Mobius, a "protege of the legendary Sir John Templeton."</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/05/10/templeton-dragon-tdf-investing-with-mark-mobius/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Templeton Dragon (TDF): Investing with Mark Mobius</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/05/10/templeton-dragon-tdf-investing-with-mark-mobius/">Templeton Dragon (TDF): Investing with Mark Mobius</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Sun, 10 May 2009 13:00:00 EST. <p><img alt="" hspace="4" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.bloggingstocks.com/media/2008/12/mark_salzinger.gif" align="left" vspace="4" border="1" />"<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/matthews-asia-pacific-equity-income-fund/mapix/nmf">Matthews Asia Pacific Equity Income</a> (<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/matthews-asia-pacific-equity-income-fund/mapix/nmf">MAPIX</a>) is my top no-load fund pick for 2009," says leading mutual fund expert <a href="http://www.thestockadvisors.com/ccount/click.php?id=2727">Mark Salzinger</a>.</p>
<p>In his <a href="http://www.thestockadvisors.com/ccount/click.php?id=2727">The No-Load Fund Investor</a>, the advisor explains, "Though most investors do not associate Pacific-Rim investments with high-dividend yields, this $80-million fund could change their perception.</p>
<p>"Matthews Asia Pacific Equity Income was recently offering investors a dividend yield of approximately 5%.</p>
<p>"Managers Jesper Madsen and Andrew Foster seek to fill this fund with dividend-paying stocks of companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, China/Hong Kong, Taiwan and recently at least eight other Asian countries.</p>
<p>"Though dividends have not protected investors in American stocks from the carnage so far in 2008, they appear to have reduced losses for investors in Asian equities.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/01/02/top-stock-picks-09-matthews-asia-pacific-income-mapix/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Top Stock Picks '09: Matthews Asia Pacific Income (MAPIX)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/01/02/top-stock-picks-09-matthews-asia-pacific-income-mapix/">Top Stock Picks '09: Matthews Asia Pacific Income (MAPIX)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 02 Jan 2009 08:00:00 EST. This article is one of 100+ ideas in the </em><a href="http://money.aol.com/investing/top-stocks-2008/top-100-stocks"><em>Best Stocks for 2008</em></a><em> report.</em></p>
<div style="display: block;" id="imageResults"><img vspace="4" hspace="4" border="1" align="right" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.bloggingstocks.com/media/2007/12/jim_lowell[1].jpg" alt="" /></div>
<p>"<a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/fidelity-china-region/fhkcx/nmf?tabs=quotesandnews">Fidelity China Region</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/fidelity-china-region/fhkcx/nmf?tabs=quotesandnews">FHKCX</a>) is my top speculative idea for 2008," says <strong>Jim Lowell</strong>, mutual fund expert and editor of <a href="http://www.fidelityinvestor.com/">The Fidelity Investor</a>.</p>
<p>"With regard to China Region, caution will likely always remain my buy word. But, for the first time since this fund's inception back in 1995, this fund is beginning to exhibit characteristics of both the region (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia that account for 55% of its assets) and China (which now accounts for over 30% of the names in the portfolio -- a year ago that weighting was 6%; in March of this year it was 7%).</p>
<p>"New manager, Wilson Wong, who took the helm in June of this year, is finally enabling this fund to both live up to its name and differentiate itself from Fidelity's and other Asia-focused funds. That's plus one in my book.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/12/22/best-stocks-for-2008-fidelity-china-region-fhkcx/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Best Stocks for 2008: Asian diversity via Fidelity China Region (FHKCX)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/12/22/best-stocks-for-2008-fidelity-china-region-fhkcx/">Best Stocks for 2008: Asian diversity via Fidelity China Region (FHKCX)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Sat, 22 Dec 2007 11:45:00 EST.
