The brokerage stated that it would use any current weakness as an opportunity to build positions.     <li>Jefferies downgraded shares of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/rf-micro-devices-inc/rfmd/nas">RF Micro Devices</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/rf-micro-devices-inc/rfmd/nas">RFMD</a>) to Hold from Buy to reflect the continued softness in the China Market after Asian channel checks suggested the March quarter will be weak. <br /></li>
    <li>Citigroup downgraded shares of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/western-digital-corporation/wdc/nys">Western Digital</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/western-digital-corporation/wdc/nys">WDC</a>) to Hold from Buy, as they believe the HDD industry is nearing a cyclical peak. They also view the likelihood of consolidation as less likely given the current conditions. <br /></li>
    <li><a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/boyd-gaming-corporation/byd/nys">Boyd Gaming</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/boyd-gaming-corporation/byd/nys">BYD</a>) was lowered to Neutral from Add at Calyon following its Q4 report.</li>

<p><strong>Sepracor </strong>was upgraded to Buy from Hold at Stanford Capital on the belief that the company could be acquired in the next 6-12 months, highlighting Johnson &amp; Johnson (JNJ) and Schering-Plough (SGP) as potential bidders. </p>
<p>Pacific Growth Equities upgraded <strong>Salesforce.com</strong> to Buy from Neutral, citing checks that suggested a strong Q3 due to enterprise sales and continued momentum. </p>
<p><strong>OTHER UPGRADES:</strong> </p>
<p>Robert W. Baird upgraded <strong>Cubist Pharmaceuticals</strong> (CBST) to Outperform from Neutral based on the recent sell-off in shares. </p>
<p><strong>Borg Warner</strong> (BWA) was upgraded by KeyBanc/McDonald to Buy from Hold based on lowered Street expectations and sales backlog. </p>
<p>J.P. Morgan upgraded <strong>SpectraLink</strong> (SLNK) to Overweight from Neutral, citing the current turnaround, which is not reflected in its current share price.</p>
