The company? <a target="_blank" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/article/cable-company-cox-launches-cell-service/1410325/">Cox Communications</a>.</p>
<p>Before you think that this wireless network will be available across the U.S., Cox's wireless offerings will be available in Orange County, California; Omaha, Nebraska; and Hampton Roads, Virginia. These three locales are where Cox is the local cable company, and they hold roughly 1.5 million residents.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/11/19/cox-communications-launches-cell-phone-service/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Cox Communications Launches Cell Phone Service</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/11/19/cox-communications-launches-cell-phone-service/">Cox Communications Launches Cell Phone Service</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 19 Nov 2010 12:30:00 EST. But every once in a while an exception is made, and with the aforementioned in mind France Telecom is worth a review.<br /><br /><a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/france-telecom-s-a/fte/nys">France Telecom SA (ADR)</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/france-telecom-s-a/fte/nys">FTE</a>) is a major telecommunications provider in France and also operates broadband, IP protocol, and audio-visual content businesses. <br /><br />Analysts really like FTE's 49% market share of France's broadband market. Analysts also expect France Telecom's broadband business to offset a decline in landline telephone revenue in FY 2008.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/05/20/france-telecom-a-telecommunications-broadband-play-at-a-bargain/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>France Telecom: A telecommunications/broadband play at a bargain</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/05/20/france-telecom-a-telecommunications-broadband-play-at-a-bargain/">France Telecom: A telecommunications/broadband play at a bargain</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Tue, 20 May 2008 17:23:00 EST. Verizon is one such company.<br /><br />Verizon is not your typical, former <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/atandt-inc/t/nys">AT&amp;T</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/atandt-inc/t/nys">T</a>) unit. <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/verizon-communications-inc/vz/nys">Verizon Communications</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/verizon-communications-inc/vz/nys">VZ</a>) is a modern, diverse telecom provider for the early digital age.<br /><br />Verizon has three impressive divisions: landline, wireless, and business services. And the numbers speak for themselves: the landline unit has an astounding 41.4 million subscribers in 28 states, Verizon Wireless is the U.S.'s second largest wireless provider, and business services is making inroads on medium/large enterprise customers and government agencies. <br /><br />Further, the company's fiber optic broadband/video service, FiOS emerged as a competitor to comparable cable broadband/video services: look for VZ to continue to grab market share in key markets, as the service is rolled-out in the years ahead. <a href="http://stocks.us.reuters.com/stocks/estimates.asp?symbol=vz">The Reuters F2008/F2009 EPS consensus estimates</a> for VZ are $2.65/$2.92.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/04/03/verizon-is-a-utility-play-with-some-pizzazz/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Verizon is a utility play with some pizzazz</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/04/03/verizon-is-a-utility-play-with-some-pizzazz/">Verizon is a utility play with some pizzazz</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Thu, 03 Apr 2008 13:16:00 EST. Further, analysts also like the company's successful expansion to 13 other markets in the region, to go along with its two key markets: Brazil and Mexico. <br /><br />Hence, analysts also really like AMX's current subscriber base -- a remarkable 153 million in 2007 -- and its projected subscriber growth rate of 12-15% for 2008, and 10-13% for 2009.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/02/08/american-movil-sa-is-an-incontrovertible-south-of-the-border-suc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>American Movil SA is an incontrovertible south-of-the border success story</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/02/08/american-movil-sa-is-an-incontrovertible-south-of-the-border-suc/">American Movil SA is an incontrovertible south-of-the border success story</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 08 Feb 2008 17:13:00 EST.
