U.S. stock futures are higher this morning, ahead of the day's economic data. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 17 points to 11,314.00 and S&P 500 futures rose 2.60 points to 1,230.50. Nasdaq 100 futures moved up 3 points at 2,202.75.U.S. stock markets closed mostly higher on Thursday, with the S&P 500 index rising 0.4%.
Data on the October trade balance will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. However, data on consumer confidence will be released after the opening bell.
