This article is part of his 24th annual <a href="http://money.aol.com/investing/stock_picks_2007_full_list">Top Picks Report</a>.</em></p>
<p><strong><img alt="" hspace="4" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.bloggingstocks.com/media/2006/12/chuck_carlson.jpg" align="right" vspace="4" border="1" />Intel Corp. </strong>(NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/intel-corporation/intc/nas">INTC</a>) is a favorite conservative idea from <strong>Chuck Carlson</strong>, editor of <a href="http://www.dripinvestor.com">The DRIP Investor</a>, and author of <em>Winning with the Dow's Losers</em>.</p>
<p>Carlson notes, "Intel has so far been the worst-performing stock in the Dow for 2006, and I expect the company to 'revert nicely' in 2007 as it faces easier quarterly comparisons as well as an improved environment for technology spending. </p>
<p>"Further, on the latest rally we are seeing a renewed interest in large-cap stocks, as well as a shift to technology stocks. Now I know I've never been a big bull on tech stocks. Quite frankly, it's hard for me to get a handle on the business models of tech companies. Still, there's no denying that a number of tech stocks offer decent values. </p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2006/12/25/top-picks-2007-carlson-sees-rebound-in-the-chips-for-intel/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Top Picks 2007: Carlson sees rebound in the chips for Intel</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2006/12/25/top-picks-2007-carlson-sees-rebound-in-the-chips-for-intel/">Top Picks 2007: Carlson sees rebound in the chips for Intel</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Mon, 25 Dec 2006 14:30:00 EST.
