Airline sacrifices goat -- According to Reuters, Nepal Airlines recently dealt with a mechanical problem on one of its Boeing 757 aircraft by sacrificing a goat to appease the Hindu god Akash Bhairav. (True.) Passengers were reportedly rightly nervous when airline officials began to openly speculate that they might deal with passenger complaints in a similar fashion. (Joke, I hope.) For those of us who love to tap out a tattoo on our steering wheel comes a great new invention -- DrumPants. The slacks have built-in piezo tranducers that convert slaps to the thigh to MIDI code, which can then be processed and routed to window-rattling speakers as drum and cymbal sounds. Of course, once in MIDI, the signals could also be processed to emulate anything from a piccolo to a steamboat whistle. I look for this product to be HUGE. Via Engadget
