But since then, shareholders have seen a steady decline. Of course, the economy plunged into a recession and unemployment skyrocketed. For a company focused on the jobs market, the situation was terrible.<br />
<br />
But today, the shares of Salary.com are up 42% to $4.08. Yes, the company has <a href="http://investor.salary.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=503942">agreed</a> to sell-out to Kenexa (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/kenexa-corporation/knxa/nas">KNXA</a>), which develops human resources software. The deal comes to $80 million in cash.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/09/01/salary-coms-buyout-is-rare-good-news-for-shareholders/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Salary.com's Buyout Is Rare Good News for Shareholders</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/09/01/salary-coms-buyout-is-rare-good-news-for-shareholders/">Salary.com's Buyout Is Rare Good News for Shareholders</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Wed, 01 Sep 2010 14:50:00 EST.
