<br />
Nevertheless, KSU, first discussed here on July 29, 2009 at a price of $19.66, looks even more attractive following the correction. Here's why: <br />
<br />
Railroads like KSU are in a very good spot, from a commercial standpoint. The nation's inadequate, congested interstate highway system suggests a bottleneck-plagued, high-cost road transportation network in the years ahead.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/07/19/ride-the-railroad-rebound-with-kansas-city-southern/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Ride the Railroad Rebound with Kansas City Southern</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/07/19/ride-the-railroad-rebound-with-kansas-city-southern/">Ride the Railroad Rebound with Kansas City Southern</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Mon, 19 Jul 2010 16:00:00 EST. <br />
However, those investors willing to go for an even greater gain, at the risk of losing existing capital gains, can maintain their current position. <br />
<br />
To be sure, the rails like KSU are in a very good spot, from a commercial standpoint. The nation's inadequate, congested interstate highway system suggests a bottle neck-plagued, high-cost road transportation network in the years ahead. That road transportation system is also dependent on oil, and have you noticed <a href="http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$wtic">oil's price trend,</a> lately?<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/04/05/kansas-city-southern-take-some-profits-off-the-table/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Kansas City Southern: Take Some Profits off the Table</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/04/05/kansas-city-southern-take-some-profits-off-the-table/">Kansas City Southern: Take Some Profits off the Table</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Mon, 05 Apr 2010 15:40:00 EST. May be you should, too? Hence, it goes without saying that I'm reiterating my buy rating for Kansas City Southern (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/kansas-city-southern/ksu/nys">KSU</a>), first recommended <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/10/27/kansas-city-southerns-stock-is-headed-north/#continued">on July 29, 2009</a> at a price of $19.66. If you bought KSU in July, you're up an impressive 70%.<br /> <br /> The rails are in a very good spot, from a commercial standpoint. The nation's inadequate, congested interstate highway system and vehicle system dependent on oil suggests a bottle neck-plagued, high-cost road transportation network in the years ahead. Some of that freight traffic will shift to the rails, to KSU's benefit.<br /> <br /> Hence, look for a 6-9% 2010 revenue increase for KSU, following a roughly 20% decline in 2009.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/01/14/kansas-city-southern-s-train-is-leaving-the-station/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Kansas City Southern's Train Is Leaving the Station</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/01/14/kansas-city-southern-s-train-is-leaving-the-station/">Kansas City Southern's Train Is Leaving the Station</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Thu, 14 Jan 2010 15:30:00 EST. <li>Morgan Keegan believes <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/burlington-northern-santa-fe-corporation/bni/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Kansas City Southern</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/burlington-northern-santa-fe-corporation/bni/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">KSU</a>) de Mexico provides KSU a tremendous growth opportunity, starting shares with an Outperform rating. <br /></li>
    <li>Morgan Keegan also believes <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/norfolk-southern-corporation/nsc/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Norfolk Southern Corp </a>(NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/norfolk-southern-corporation/nsc/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">NSC</a>) is undervalued, despite having some of the best operating metrics in the industry, initiating shares with an Outperform rating. <br /></li>
