China expert picks four favorite ADRs

"The Chinese Dragon strikes again," says small cap expert Jim Oberweis, Jr., adding, "So far in 2009, the MSCI China Index is up 30% and our Oberweis China Opportunities Fund (OBCHX) has gained 62%."

In his The Oberweis Report, he says, "China will be a great place to invest over the medium-to-long term, even if unpredictable in the short term."

Longtop: top Chinese software company banks on an IPO

Longtop logoAs the financial services market grows in China, there's lots of demand for software and information technology (IT) services. One of the top providers is: Longtop Financial Technologies. Now, the company has filed to go public.

In fact, according to IDC, Longtop is ranked #3 for banking IT solutions in China. Basically, the company helps with things like ATMs, call centers, credit cards, online banking, and so on.

As a testament to its capabilities, Longtop currently provides services to three of the four largest state-controlled national banks.

And growth has been surging. From 2004 to 2006, revenues spiked from $15.2 million to $43.2 million. What's more, the company is currently profitable.

The lead underwriter is Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) and the proposed ticker symbol is "LFT."
