(ADR)</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/america-movil-s-a-b-de-c-v/amx/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">AMX</a>) is the largest wireless service provider in Latin America, and one of the 10 largest in the world.<br /><br />Analysts see 2008 revenue rising of 15-20%, after a 32% increase in 2007. Further, analysts also like the company's successful expansion to 13 other markets in the region, to go along with its two key markets: Brazil and Mexico. <br /><br />Hence, analysts also really like AMX's current subscriber base -- a remarkable 153 million in 2007 -- and its projected subscriber growth rate of 12-15% for 2008, and 10-13% for 2009.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/02/08/american-movil-sa-is-an-incontrovertible-south-of-the-border-suc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>American Movil SA is an incontrovertible south-of-the border success story</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/02/08/american-movil-sa-is-an-incontrovertible-south-of-the-border-suc/">American Movil SA is an incontrovertible south-of-the border success story</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 08 Feb 2008 17:13:00 EST. Sprint said the jobs cuts would occur nationally, and would include managers.<br /><br />The action comes after the company announced that it lost an additional 683,000 customers last quarter, which brought 2007 customer losses to 1.2 million. <br /><br />No 3. carrier Sprint has been stung by customer departures, as customers have been lured to competitors <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/atandt-inc/t/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">AT&amp;T</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/atandt-inc/t/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">T</a>) and <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/verizon-communications-inc/vz/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Verizon Wireless</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/verizon-communications-inc/vz/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">VZ</a>), which feature more-popular phones/PDAs and better service. Moreover, although Sprint's call quality and network has improved in the past six months, Sprint has found it difficult to reverse the company's earlier reputation as one of the worst call networks in the mobile sector. In addition to Sprint's aforementioned attrition problem, analysts believe that reputation is holding down subscriber recruitment.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/01/18/sprint-shares-plunge-15-to-cut-4-000-jobs-close-125-stores/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Sprint shares plunge 15% -- to cut 4,000 jobs, close 125 stores</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/01/18/sprint-shares-plunge-15-to-cut-4-000-jobs-close-125-stores/">Sprint shares plunge 15% -- to cut 4,000 jobs, close 125 stores</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 18 Jan 2008 10:30:00 EST.
