The latest tally, according to Bloomberg News, is <a target="_blank" href="http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-03-26/reinsurers-issue-debt-at-fastest-pace-since-2005-correct-.html">$1.34 billion in additional borrowing</a>, with Endurance Specialty Holdings (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/endurance-specialty-holdings-ltd/enh/nys">ENH</a>), a Bermuda-based company, recently selling $85 million in bonds.
